Clinical Massage
Anchor 1
A gentle blend of stretching and massage using no oil, myofascial release (often referred to simply as “myofascial”) is a slow, non-invasive, and therapeutic approach to bodywork. It is an energetic style of bodywork, it feels good, and it is very effective.
Myofascial techniques are effective because they allow the therapist to engage and treat muscles and fascia (connective tissue) on a different level than do techniques requiring oil or cream; greater traction is achieved, creating a “shearing” affect.
I often combine Myofascial with Deep Tissue Massage and Active Release Techniques for optimal results.
